After School Snacks: Chicken Taco Pinwheels and Homemade Pizza Rolls
Rule after school with Tone's® Taco and Italian Seasonings! These Chicken Taco Pinwheels and Homemade Pizza Rolls make the perfect fuel for tackling that after school homework.
Ingredients
For the Chicken Taco Pinwheels
12ozCream cheese, softened to room temperature
½cupSour cream
2cupsShredded chicken (you can pick up a pre-made rotisserie chicken at your grocery store and shred it)
1½tbspTone's® Taco Seasoning
1½cupsShredded Mexican cheese
10oz (1 can)Diced tomatoes with green chiles, very well drained
1½tspGarlic, minced
5Green onions, sliced thinly
¾cupCilantro, chopped finely
8Burrito sized flour tortillas
For the Homemade Pizza Rolls
1(8 oz) canCrescent rolls
40slices Pepperoni
4sticksMozzarella string cheese, cut in half
Tone's® Italian Seasoning, for sprinkling on top of pizza rolls
Pizza sauce, for dipping

Instructions
For the Chicken Taco Pinwheels
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients (except the tortillas), stirring until well combined.
Lay a tortilla on a clean work surface and spread about ¼ cup (or more if you'd prefer) of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a ½ to 1-inch border all around.
Start at the bottom of the tortilla and roll up tightly towards the top. Place roll seam side down on a large plate or platter.
Repeat rolling process with remaining tortillas. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to several hours to chill (the colder they are, the easier they are to slice).
Use a sharp, serrated knife to slice roll into 1-inch pinwheels and serve.
For the Homemade Pizza Rolls
Preheat oven to 375ºF.
Unroll crescent rolls and separate into 8 triangles. Place 5 slices of pepperoni on each crescent roll. Top pepperoni with string cheese piece. Roll the crescent roll up tightly, starting from the bottom of the triangle.
Sprinkle crescent rolls with Tone's® Italian Seasoning, as desired.
Place rolls on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warmed pizza sauce for dipping.
