BLT Wrap with Homemade Ranch

There is nothing better than a BLT in the summertime. The fresh tomatoes, the crispy bacon, the crunchy lettuce...the only thing that could improve this staple recipe is homemade ranch and rolling it up into a handy wrap! For an added tasty touch, try adding some avocado to the wrap. You won't be disappointed!

For the Wrap

  • Heat the bacon in a large skillet over medium-low heat. Cook until it is crispy and the fat is rendered. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel to soak up the excess grease.
  • To build the wraps, add 1 cup of romaine in the center of a tortilla. Drizzle a few tablespoons of the ranch over the romaine. Top with a few tomato slices and add a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Top with 3 slices of bacon. Add additional ingredients if desired (like avocado slices). Fold up the top and the bottom of the tortilla, then roll the sides in tightly to wrap it up.

For the Homemade Ranch

  • Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until pureed and combined. Store in the fridge in a sealed container - it will last for about a week.
