Holiday French Toast Casserole

French toast in the morning (especially Christmas morning) - there's nothing better! But who wants to spend the holiday frenzy cooking it slice by slice? Make a casserole instead! It has all of the goodness of regular French toast, but none of the wait time.

  • The night before making this recipe, cut the croissants into 1-inch cubes and place on a baking sheet. Let sit overnight.
  • Preheat oven to 250℉. Grease an 8x11-inch pan.
  • Grease or butter an 8×11 pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, sugar, and Member's Mark™ Ground Cinnamon.
  • Add the cubed bread pieces to the bowl and stir until well-coated. Add the mixture to the prepared pan. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for another 20 minutes. The total bake time is 40 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and let cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar, sprinkle with Member's Mark™ Pecan Halves, and cut into squares. Serve with warm maple syrup or whipped cream.
