San Francisco Garlic Fries

It's easy to focus on figuring out what you're serving for your main course, but don't forget about the side! These San Francisco Garlic Fries might even steal the show - they are simple yet flavorful, and best of all - they are made from scratch!

Ingredients

  • 6 Russet potatoes, sliced 3 cm wide by 3 cm thick
  • 34 oz Vegetable oil
  • cup Member's Mark™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Member's Mark™ Garlic Powder
  • ¼ cup Parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp Member's Mark™ Sea Salt
  • 1 tsp Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder

Instructions

  • Place the potatoes into an ice bath and leave for a minimum of 1 hour. This will remove the starch from the potatoes.
  • In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat vegetable oil to 375℉.
  • Fry potatoes until they are a deep golden brown - about 10-12 minutes.
  • Drain fries when they are done cooking. In a large bowl, combine fries, Member's Mark™ Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Member's Mark™ Garlic Powder, parsley, Member's Mark™ Sea Salt, and Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder.
