Season the chuck roast generously with Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder and Member's Mark™ Mediterranean Sea Salt Grinder.
Heat Member's Mark™ Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once heated, add the chuck roast to the skillet and sear all sides (about 1-2 minutes per side).
Once seared, move the chuck roast and the sauces in the pan to a slow cooker. Add the onion soup mix, water, and beef broth to the slow cooker and cook for 4-6 hours on high (or 8-10 hours on low).
When the meat is tender, remove it from the slow cooker and thinly slice it. Set aside.
Prepare hoagie rolls to your liking, toasted or plain, and assemble the sandwich by added the thinly sliced roast and a slice or two of provolone cheese. Put the juices from the slow cooker in a separate bowl for dipping and serve!
