Weber® Gourmet Burger Double Cheeseburger

What is better than a juicy cheeseburger on the 4th of July? A double cheeseburger on the 4th of July! This recipe uses Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning to enhance the flavor of your favorite summertime meal. It's doubly delicious!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning
  • 4 slices Cheese of your choice
  • 4 Sesame seed buns
  • Shredded lettuce, as desired
  • Pickles, as desired
  • Onion slices, as desired

Instructions

  • Gently shape ground beef into 8 patties. Season burgers on both sides with Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning (you can use more than 1 tbsp if desired!)
  • Grill over direct medium heat (with the lid closed as much as possible), until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium, 12–15 minutes, turning once. Top 4 of the patties with 1 slice of cheese just before removing from the grill. Place buns on grill and toast for 1–2 minutes.
  • Place pickles and lettuce on the bottom bun, then add the cheese-covered patty, the plain patty, an onion slice, and the top of the bun. Feel free to add other toppings as desired!
