Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Whipped Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large Sweet potatoes peeled, cubed
  • cup Member's Mark™ Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter
  • 3 tbsp Heavy cream
  • ½ tsp Member's Mark™ Mediterranean Sea Salt Grinder
  • ½ tsp Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder
  • ¼ tsp Member's Mark™ Organic Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Wash, peel, and cube sweet potatoes. Put them in a pot with water and bring it to a boil for about 12-15 minutes (until the potatoes are fork tender).
  • Once fork tender, remove the potatoes from the pot and add them to a mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to whip. Whip until smooth.
  • Set whipped potatoes aside, melt butter and add it to a separate mixing bowl. Add heavy cream, salt, pepper, and cinnamon to the melted butter and whisk together. Pour over whipped sweet potatoes and whisk to combine.
  • Once creamy, transfer whipped sweet potatoes to a serving dish and serve! Optional: add chives, parsley, or extra butter for garnish.
