Warm the milk in the microwave or over the stovetop until it's about 100° F. Pour half the milk into a bowl with the Fleischmann's® Active Dry Yeast and 1 tsp of Member's Mark™ Granulated Sugar.
Stir to combine and let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the mixture should be bubbly and frothy.
Add the remaining milk, melted butter, Member's Mark™ Granulated Sugar, Member's Mark™ Sea Salt, and 2 cups of Member's Mark™ All Purpose Flour. Knead until fully combined.
Slowly add the remaining Member's Mark™ All Purpose Flour until the dough is tacky, but doesn't stick to the bowl or surface. Knead again for 5 minutes.
Leave the bowl in the bowl and cover with plastic wrap for one hour. This will allow the dough to rise.
Once risen, roll out the dough and cut into donut shapes using a round cookie cutter.
Pour about 2 inches of fry oil in the bottom of a pan and heat until 350° F. Fry the donuts for about 1 minute on each side, or until golden brown.
Once golden brown, let the donuts rest on a cooling rack and repeat the process with the remaining dough. Once all donuts are fried and cooled, top them with your favorite frosting or glaze.
