Soft Pretzel Bites are a savory, bite-sized classic snack, made with the bold flavor of Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt. These pretzel bites are perfect for parties, game nights, or anytime snacking, offering the ideal combination of chewy dough and salty finish.
To make them, start with a simple yeast dough consisting of warm water, active dry yeast, a touch of sugar, melted butter, Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt, and flour. After allowing the dough to rise for about an hour, it’s divided and rolled into long ropes, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
Before baking, the pretzel bites are briefly dipped in a baking soda bath, which gives them their signature chewy texture and golden-brown color. This crucial step also helps the Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt adhere beautifully, adding both visual appeal and a satisfying crunch.
After the baking soda bath, the bites are placed on a baking sheet, brushed with egg wash for shine, and generously sprinkled with Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt. This premium salt provides that classic pretzel flavor in every bite.
Baked at a high temperature until golden brown, the pretzel bites come out warm, soft on the inside, and perfectly salted on the outside. They can be served plain, with mustard, or alongside our favorite Smoky Beer Cheese.
This recipe showcases the versatility and quality of Member’s Mark™ Sea Salt, proving that the right salt can elevate even the simplest snack into something crave-worthy. Whether you’re an experienced baker or a beginner, these soft pretzel bites are fun to make and guaranteed to impress.
