Shrimp Boil
Ingredients
- 4 quarts Hot water
- 1 large Onion Sliced into wedges
- 1 bulb Garlic Cut in half, horizontally
- ½ cup Homemade Seafood Seasoning
- 1 tsp Member's Mark™ Thyme Leaves
- 1 ½ lbs Baby potatoes Cut in half
- 12 oz Andouille sausage Cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 ½ lbs Shrimp Deveined and peeled
- 8 ears Member's Mark™ Super Sweet Corn On The Cob
- 6 tbsp Butter Melted
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Member's Mark™ Parsley Flakes
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with 4 quarts of water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat. Stir in onion, garlic, Homemade Seafood Seasoning, and thyme. Let sit for a few minutes.
- Add potatoes and season with about 1 tbsp of salt. Let cook until potatoes are almost tender, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add corn and let cook for 3 minutes, then add sausage and let cook for 4 minutes.
- Gently stir in shrimp and cook until pink, about 1-2 minutes.
- Reserve about ½ cup of the broth for serving and drain the rest of the liquid. Spread the mixture on a large baking sheet or serving platter. Drizzle with melted butter and lemon juice. Sprinkle with parsley, Homemade Seafood Seasoning, and pepper to taste.
