Keep the summertime vibes alive with this Blood Orange Paloma! A combination of Member’s Mark™ Chili Powder and Sea Salt add a little kick of heat to the rim – you can add as little or as much as you’d like! You can also try serving this frozen (see below)!
What is a Paloma?
A Paloma is a refreshing Mexican cocktail that combines tequila with grapefruit soda (like Jarritos, Squirt, or Fresca), served over ice with a squeeze of fresh lime juice. It’s usually garnished with a lime wedge or grapefruit slice, and sometimes served in a salt-rimmed glass.
It’s less sweet than a margarita, with a balance of tart, bitter, and citrusy flavors, making it super light and easy to drink. This version uses blood orange rather than the flavors of grapefruit, so it’s just as flavorful, but a tad less tart.
What is Elderflower Cordial
Elderflower cordial is a sweet, fragrant, non-alcoholic syrup made by steeping fresh elderflower blossoms (from the elder tree) with sugar, water, and lemon. It captures the delicate floral, slightly honey-like flavor of elderflowers and is often used as a mixer or flavoring.
-
Taste: light, floral, subtly citrusy, with a hint of pear or lychee.
-
Wondering how you’ll use a whole bottle of elderflower cordial? Try the following!

-
Drizzled into fruit salads or over yogurt
