Classic Gravy
When you're looking to add an extra touch of deliciousness to your holiday meal, don't forget the gravy! Whether you're serving chicken, turkey, or another traditional favorite, this Classic Gravy recipe is the perfect dinner accompaniment - and it comes together in minutes (no drippings required)!
Ingredients
- 4 cups + ½ cup Water, divided
- 2½ tbsp Member's Mark™ Chicken Base
- ⅓ cup Corn starch
- Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder, as desired
Instructions
- In a large saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Add Member's Mark™ Chicken Base to boiling water and whisk to incorporate. Reduce heat to simmer.
- In a small bowl, whisk together corn starch and ½ cup cold water to make slurry.
- Bring stovetop heat to medium and slowly add corn starch slurry to the saucepan. Continually stir until gravy thickens, approximately 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat. Add Member's Mark™ Black Pepper Grinder, as desired.
